Hazel Parrott Brown

  Services for Mrs. Hazel Parrott Brown, 75, of Shreveport, were
held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 6, in the United Methodist Church of
Zwolle. The Rev. Raymond DeLaughter officiated. Burial was in
Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home, Many.

  She died at 11:20 a.m., on May 3, 1983, in the Highland
Hospital, after a brief illness.

  Mrs. Brown was born in Zwolle, and was a resident of Shreveport
for the past 25 years. She was a nurse at LSU Medical Center,
retired after 17 years of services. She was a member of the
Eastern Star.

  She was survived by her brother, Randal H. Parrott of Zwolle;
her nephew, Malay H. Pentecost Sr., and her niece, Ann Parrot
Patterson of Shreveport.

  Memorial contributions may be made to the Louisiana Heart Fund.
