Della Hicks Barron

  Services for Mrs. Della Hicks Barron, 84, of Converse, were held
Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 3 p.m., at the Fellowship Baptist Church in
Converse, with the Rev. Ray Pennfield officiating, assisted by
the Rev. James Miller. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery, under
the direction of Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield.

  Mrs. Barron, a lifelong resident of Converse, passed away
Monday, January 14, 1985, in Pleasant Hill, after a lengthy
illness.

  She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Manell Daniels, Mrs.
Dorothy Morgan, both of Converse, Mrs. Frieda Matschnig of
Lingle, Wyoming; three sons, Mr. John Barron of Shreveport, Mr.
Duncan Barron of Converse, Mr. Doyle Barron of Tampa, Florida;
numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Mr.
Lloyd Hicks of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Evia Graves of
Bastrop.
