Brother Garthel Burr officiated, assisted by Brother David Phelps. Burial was at Lee Cemetery at Catuna, La. Mr. Brown, a retired welder, and resident of Mansfield most of his life, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 1985, in Shreveport, after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Barbara M. Brown of Mansfield; two daughters, Mrs. Sheila Ann Rascoe of Converse, and Mrs. Brenda Neilson of Mansfield; one brother, P. D. Brown of Converse; two sisters, Mrs. Isolone Norwood of Converse, and Mrs. Hazel Jenkins of Eunice, La.; three grandchildren, Tommy Lee Rascoe, James Roy Neilson, and Stephanie Ann Rascoe.
