Bernice A. Brown

  Mr. Bernice A. Brown, 75, passed away in a Slidell, La.,
hospital at 12:10 a.m., Monday morning, May 12, 1986.

  Mr. Brown's body is to be cremated, and memorial services were
held in New Orleans, where he had lived since 1938, when he moved
there from Many. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam L.
Brown of Many.

  He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Duffy of Austin,
Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Batchelor of Lake Charles; two
brothers, J. R. (Sie) of Mansfield, and S. L. of Pleasant Hill;
six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
