Mrs. Ellie Aletha Brown

  Mrs. Ellie Aletha Brown, 78, of Hornbeck, died in the Plainview
Community, on Apr. 2, 1986, at 7 a.m.

  Services were held on Apr. 3, 1986, at 1 p.m., at Prewitt Chapel
Baptist Church, with Rev. Hoy Leach officiating. Burial was in
Prewitt Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  She is survived by two sons, Merle C. Brown of Hornbeck, and
Glen E. Brown of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Vera Stubbs
of Hornbeck, and Jo Ann Watkins of Anacoco; one brother, Alex N.
Hilton of Lake Charles; three sisters, Mrs. Audry Chance, and
Mrs. Joyce Chance, both of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Della Lawrence of
Westlake; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
