Mrs. Asalee Rhoda Fitts Brown

  3 Dec 1965 - Mrs. Asalee Rhoda Fitts Brown, 82, died Tuesday,
Nov. 23, in Many after a long illness.

  Services were held in the Pisgah Baptist church, Thursday, Nov.
25, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jason Kay and the Rev. A. J. Dupree
officiating. Burial was under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors are her husband, W. J. Brown of Florien; four
daughters, Mrs. Gracie Evans of Fisher, Mrs. Edna Weldon and Mrs.
Hazel Lucius both of Florien, and Mrs. Alice Holder of
Shreveport; one brother Jackson Fitts of Anacoco; three
half-brothers, Sam Fitts of Illinois, Dan Fitts of Arizona and
Ralph Fitts, Florien; a half-sister Mrs. Della Carroll of
Florien; 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Andrew Weldon, Don Lucius, Sweptson Weldon,
Norms Brown, Robert Holder, Jr., Curtis Brown, Donnie Brown and
