All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Ruby Mae Marshall Brown Mrs. Ruby Mae Marshall Brown, 75, of the Oak Grove Community near Converse, died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at the North Sabine Nursing Center in Pleasant Hill, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Mansfield. Funeral services were held Monday, March 5, at 3 p.m., at Fellowship Baptist Church in the Oak Grove Community, with interment following at the Oak Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Price, pastor of Noble Baptist Church, and the Rev. Marshall Ingles, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, officiated. Survivors include one son, Jeff Brown and wife Susan of Tyler, Texas; one daughter, Beverly Raimond and husband Tommy of the Oak Grove Community; and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, O. F. Brown. Pallbearers were Will Burkett, Ralph Patrick, Dan Carter, Dennis Cates, Tim Singletary, and Larry Patrick. Honorary pallbearers were Roy Patrick, Arlon Skinner, Q. D. Spillyards, and Casey Jones. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, La.
