Brown, 65, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 2, at Rose Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Officiating was Rev. Joe Bob Alexander. Burial was held at Springridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. Mr. Brown died Sunday, June 30, in Shreveport, after a brief illness. He was a resident of Bethany, La. for the past 26 years, and was a retired mechanic. Mr. Brown was a master mason in the Cedar Grove Masonic Lodge #403, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenwood. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Agnes F. Brown of Bethany; one son, Ronald Wayne Brown of Bethany; three daughters, Carol Brown of Shreveport, Kay Brown of Bethany, and Donna Brown of Pearl River, La.; one sister, Etoyce Free, and her husband Milton of Pleasant Hill, La.; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church of Greenwood.
