  Mrs. Irene Pallie Brown

  Services for Mrs. Irene Pallie Brown, 80, of Shreveport, were
held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 23 at Rose-Neaths's Southside
Chapel. The Rev. Bill Stowell, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church,
where Mrs. Brown was a member, officiated. Burial was at Forest
Park West Cemetery.

  Mrs. Brown, a housewife, died at 11 p.m. Saturday, November 19,
1988, at Schumpert Medical Center after long illness. She was
born in Pleasant Hill, La.

  She is survived by her husband, Pratt B. Brown, Jr.; one
daughter, Nevelle Bamburg of Shreveport; one son, Sammy K. Brown
of Las Vegas, Nevada, four grandchildren, Glynda Ivey, Charlotte
Holmes, Jason Brown and Allison Brown; and four great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Jim Ivey, Robert Ivey, Jimmy Barnhill, James
Holmes, Carl Downs and Cliff Widdon.
