Mr. Atlas Carnival Brown

  Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Hornbeck, with
burial at Prewitts Chapel Cemetery, on Saturday, Nov. 20, 1993,
at 2 p.m., for Mr. Atlas Carnival Brown. Dr. Harvey Hoffman, Rev.
William Roy Dowden, and Rev. Lewis R. Chance officiated.

  Pallbearers were Bill Wilson, Larry Moore, Sonny Cavanaugh,
Wayne Jones, Sheriff Frankie Howard, and Roger Whatley.

  Mr. Brown died on Nov. 18, 1993, at 11:20 p.m., at the Sabine
Medical Center. He was 80 years of age.

  He is survived by his wife, Irene Brown of Hornbeck, La.; one
son, Lee Brown of Hornbeck, La.; one daughter, Pat Cavanaugh of
Hornbeck, La.; one sister, Essie Lea Howard of Hornbeck, La.; one
brother, Curtis Brown of Leesville, La.; and three grandchildren,
Angela Hoffman, Jacqueline Cavanaugh, and Rondle Cavanaugh; and a
host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
