Mr. Joseph Paul Brown

  Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Paul Brown, 41, of Converse,
La., were held at St. Patricio Baptist Church, in Tuesday, July
12, at 10 a.m.

  Officiating was Rev. Bob Hannagan. Burial was in the Converse
Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of
Mansfield Chapel.

  Mr. Brown died on July 8, in an auto accident. He was a lifelong
resident of Converse, La.

  Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Maggie Brown Smith of Converse,
La.; one son, Phillip Brown of Jackson, Miss.; three sisters,
LouElla Madiar of Monroe, La., Maggie Sanchez of Bossier City,
La., and Mary Schwartzkoph of Largo, Fla.; four brothers, Truett
Brown of Converse, La., David Brown of Many, La., John Henry
Brown of Converse, La., and Jimmy Dean Brown of Gulf Port, Miss.

  Pallbearers were Johnny Paddie, Benny Joe Watson, Rodger Dell
Springer, Robert Watson, Robert Hatcher, and Richard Childress.
