Bessie Nell Bryan

  Graveside services for Bessie Nell Bryan, were held at 11 a.m.,
Jan. 13, at Springridge Cemetery at Pleasant Hill.

  Rev. Vernon Stephenson officiated.

  Mrs. Bryan passed away Jan. 10, 1995, at North Sabine Nursing
Home in Pleasant Hill, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's
Disease.

  Mrs. Bryan was preceded in death by her husband, William J.
Bryan, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Pennock Sr. She
was born August 18, 1915, in Warren, Tex.

  Mrs. Bryan was a homemaker, and a member of First Baptist Church
of Pleasant Hill. She, along with her husband, were charter
members of Brookwood Baptist Church of Shreveport.

  Survivors include three sons, Ronald C. Bryan of Houston, Robert
B. Bryan of Dallas, and William J. Bryan of Pleasant Hill; six
grandsons; and three great grandsons; two sisters, Lucille Rains
of Jackson, Miss., and Clara Ritchie of Shreveport; and one
brother, J. T. Pennock of Jackson, Miss.
