  Funeral services for Joseph K. Brown, 20, of Hornbeck, were held
at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1996, at the Union Baptist Church
in Florien.

  The Revs. Rusty Silvertooth, and Harvey Huffman officiated.
Burial was in Union Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home in Leesville.

  Survivors include his father and stepmother, Kenneth and Barbara
Brown; three brothers, Keith Brown (wife Terri), David Brown
(wife Tonya), and Daniel Brown (wife Sharon); his grandfather,
Hollis Brown; nieces, Krystal, Krystan, and Brittney; and
nephews, Brandon, and Joshua.

  Brown passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 1995, in an automobile
accident in Many, at the age of 20 years, 6 months, and 4 days.

  Brown's family would like to say thank you to all friends and
family, for your support and prayers. All are greatly
appreciated.
