Brown, 77, of Sulphur, were held Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1996, at 10 a.m., at Our lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur. Officiating was Rev. George Repchick. Interment was at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Many. Mr. Brown passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, in Sulphur. He was born in Warren, Ark. He worked at the Old Riverside Plant in Lake Charles, worked for 15 years at the Sabine Station in Bridge City, Tex., retired from Gulf States after 31 years, was a survivor of Pearl Harbor, and was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Brown of Sulphur; one daughter, Mrs. Rick (Regina) Dennis of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers, Kyle Brown of Springdale, Ark., and George Brown of Billings, Mont.; two grandchildren, Matthew, and Laura.
