Brown, 86, were held May 19, in the Hornbeck United Pentecostal Church of Hornbeck. The Rev. Doyle Carpenter officiated. Burial followed in the Prewitts Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck, under the direction of the Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home of Leesville. Mr. Brown passed away Saturday, May 17, at the Community Care Center in Leesville. He was a lifelong resident of Hornbeck. He worked as a barber in the surrounding area, and was a member of the United Pentecostal Faith. Survivors include three sons, Glen Brown of Hornbeck, Bobby Brown of Layton, Utah, and Jack Brown of Santa Maria, Calif.; one daughter, Myrtle Gray of Baton Rouge; one sister, Esie Brown Howard of Hornbeck; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
