Clarence E. Brown

  Clarence E. Brown, 79, died Thursday, March 31, in the
Beauregard Memorial Baptist Hospital in DeRidder.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday in the First
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Emory Wallace officiating. Burial
was in the Beauregard Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson
Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his widow; one son, Cecil Brown of Many; three
sisters, Mrs. Bernice Hayes of LaMesa, Tex., Mrs. Ruth Ivie of
Sulphur, and Mrs. Mamie Brown of Jasper, Tex.; six grandchildren;
and 12 great grandchildren.
