Brown, 75, died in Many, June 29, at 12:05 a.m. Cause of death was due to an extended illness. Services were held at Prewitts Chapel, with interment at Prewitts Chapel Cemetery, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Robert Graham, the Rev. Marvin Brown, and the Rev. Glynn Flenniken officiated. Surviving relatives are her three sons, Elmer Brown of San Angelo, Tex., Troy Brown of Carmical, Calif., and Kermit Brown of LaMarque, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Hayden Salmonson of Sioux City, S. D., Mrs. Gennievie Chance of Hornbeck; two brothers, Ashley Withers of Many, and Mack Withers of Centerville, Alabama; one sister, Mrs. Annie Cooper of Oakdale; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dee Stubbs, Edwin Brown, Homer Belsha, Lester Brown, G. C Parker, and Lonzia Belsha.
