Manuel Reed Brown

  Funeral services were held for Manuel Reed Brown, 81, of
Montgomery, July 30, in Prewitt's Chapel Baptist Church, with the
Rev. Belcher officiating. Burial was in Prewitt's Chapel
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of
Many.

  Surviving relatives include his two sons, Roy Brown of Hornbeck,
and Velton Brown of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Roshto
of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Delta Thomason of Montgomery; 18
grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

  Mr. Brown died in Winnfield General Hospital, July 29.
