Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Brown

  Funeral services were held August 15, at 3 p.m., for Mrs. Martha
Elizabeth Brown, 77, who passed away in Shreveport, La., after an
extended illness.

  The services were held at Springridge Baptist Church, with the
Rev. A. D. Ashby officiating. Interment was in Springridge
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband, John M. Brown of Shreveport; four
sons, J. B. Brown of Ajax, La., Sebe Brown of Orange, Texas, Tom
Brown of Beaumont, Texas, Travis Brown of Shreveport; three
daughters, Mrs. J. E. Mains of Mansfield, Mrs. Lois Kornegay of
Beaumont, Texas, Mrs. Wayne Dodson of Shreveport; one brother,
Mack Cole of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Mrs. O. T. Ashby of
Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Jack Tyler of Pleasant Hill; 10
grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Francis Brown, Cecil Brown, Randall Brown, T.
D. Brown, L. L. Brown, and Edmund James.
