Holt O'Neal Brown

  Holt O'Neal Brown, 49, a native of Toro, passed away in San
Manuel, Ariz., Feb. 26. He had been gone from Sabine Parish for
20 years. His funeral services were held in San Manuel Baptist
Church, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, Ariz. on
March 1.

  Survivors are his wife, Ethel; three daughters, Mrs. Wynona
Bearup of Globe, Ariz., Mrs. Jo Ann Ragsdale, Eloy, Ariz., Miss
Wyoldine Brown of San Manuel, Ariz.; one son, Howard Brown of
Denver, Colo.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Brown of Toro;
four sisters, Mrs. Troy Evans of Fisher, Mrs. Edna Weldon of
Florien, Mrs. Hazel Lucius, and Mrs. Alice Holder of Toro; one
brother, Ray Brown of Groves, Tex.; and nine grandchildren.
