D. Brown, died Sunday at the Sabine Clinic, Zwolle. Mrs. Brown had lived in Stamps, Ark., since the early 1900s. Her late husband served as pastor of the Stamps and Lewisville Presbyterian Churches for more than 50 years. She had made her home in Zwolle with her son, Max and Mrs. Brown. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, at the Stamps, Arkansas Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. E. H. Denman, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Lakeside Cemetery. Survivors, besides her son, Max Brown of Zwolle, are seven grandchildren, Mrs. Shirley Huss, Mrs. June Haynie, Mrs. Marion Valadjia, Mrs. Pat Weldin, all of Shreveport, Mrs. Sarah Young, Stillwell, Oklahoma, Robin Davis, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Ark., and Van Brown of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; also seven great grandchildren; and a number of nephews and nieces. Pallbearers were Bobby Searcy, Lewisville, Ark., W. P. Florence, Magnolia, Ark., Earl Briehn, Dub Gladney, and Briner Thomas, all of Stamps, Ark., and Jim Burke, Shreveport.
