Mrs. Leon Burns

  Mrs. Leon Burns Sr., 51, of Shreveport, died Wednesday, March
13, at 3 p.m., in a Natchitoches Hospital, following a sudden
illness.

  A native of Marthaville, she had resided in Shreveport for 30
years.

  Survivors include her husband; a son, Henry Burns of Shreveport;
her mother, Mrs. Hallie M. Wyatt of Marthaville; three brothers,
Morris Wyatt of Marthaville, Melvin Wyatt, and Marvin (Johnny)
Wyatt, both of Shreveport; and two sisters, Mrs. T. J. Wyatt of
Shreveport, and Mrs. H. T. Mitchell of Natchitoches.

  Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m.,
Friday, in the Old Pisgah Baptist Church, near Marthaville, with
Rev. Willis Greer officiating. Burial was in the Zwolle Cemetery.
