Charlie W. Burns

  Charlie W. Burns, 72, of Leesville, died Thursday night, April
10, in a local hospital, after a long illness.

  Services were at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 12, in Hixson Funeral
Home Chapel, with the Rev. Aubrey Boswell, and the Rev. Carl
Burris officiating. Burial followed in Mitchell Cemetery in
Anacoco.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mabel Spillers Burns of
Leesville; one son, John B. Burns of Anacoco; three brothers, Doc
S. Burns, and Emerson Burns, both of Leesville, and Ed Ford of
Hornbeck; and one sister, Mrs. Jack Hatchell of DeRidder.
