The Rev. Wilson Warren, pastor of Dunlop Presbyterian Church, officiated. Burial was at Centuries Memorial Park. Mr. Brunson, a retired truck driver and mechanic, died Friday, October 28, 1983, at his residence, after a sudden illness. He was born in Minden, La., has resided in Shreveport since 1948, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Caddo No. 179. He was Baptist affiliated. He is survived by one step son, Johnston Richardson of Fort Smith, Ark.; one step daughter, Laura Savage of Shreveport; three grandsons, James O. Richardson of Gurdon, Ark., Gary L. Savage of Benton, La., William E. Savage of Noble, La.; a nephew, B. C. Ratcliff of Bossier City, La. Pallbearers were A. D. Carson, A. L. Poshedley, George Tony, B. C. Ratcliff, Gary Savage, and William E. Savage.
