Morgan Franklin Burns

  Mr. Morgan Franklin Burns of Florien, passed away Wednesday,
December 14, 1983, at 9:30 p.m., in the Sabine Medical Center in
Many. He was 68.

  Final services for Mr. Burns were held at the Antioch Baptist
Church, at 2 p.m., Friday, December 16, with Bro. Don Nunley, and
Bro. Willard Sandiford officiating. Interment followed in the
Antioch Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elva L. Burns, Florien; one
son, John H. Burns, Noble; one daughter, Wanda Sue Alford,
Florien; two sisters, Maudie Fikes, Silsbee, Tex., and Rosalea
Matthews, Orange, Tex.; and seven grandchildren.
