Mrs. Alice Burns

  Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Burns, 64, were held at 11 a.m.,
Feb. 29, in the Pastor Baptist Church, with the Rev. B. G. Dyess
officiating. Burial was in the Pastor Cemetery, under the
direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Burns died Feb. 28.

  Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Macsyne Nivision of
Leesville, Mrs. Jean Drandon of Zwolle, and Mrs. Glenda Killen of
Jasper, Tex.; one son, Ronald Burns of Houston, Tex.; five
sisters, Mrs. Avis Cole of Lufkin, Tex., Mrs. Altha Chance of
Michigan, Mrs. Avalea Williams of Leesville, Mrs. Aderind Killen
of Pineville, and Mrs. Annie L. Hicks of Leesville; two brothers,
Ariel B. Cavanaugh of Leesville, and the Rev. Avon Cavanaugh of
Florien; 10 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
