Miss Malva Brantley

  Miss Malva Brantley, 51, died Thursday, Nov. 11, after an extended
illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Prospect Methodist Church Friday,
Nov. 12, at 3:30 p.m., with the Rev. Leamon Manasco, and the Rev. Alvin
Mayo officiating. Burial was in the Prospect Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives were her mother, Mrs. H. J. Brantley of Many;
Mrs. Odee Arnold, Laplace; Mrs. Alma Lee Maxey of Many; Mrs. Marie
Thornton of Shreveport; one brother, H. J. Brantley Jr. of Shreveport;
and several nieces and nephews.
