Clement, pastor First Baptist church, Many. Interment was under direction Massingill funeral home. Mr. Brantley died from effects of a limb falling from a tree and hitting him while in the woods. Surviving are: widow, Mrs. Herny J. Brantley, Hornbeck, mother, Mrs. M. J. McCorkle, Columbus, sons, Henry Brantley, Jr., of U. S. army, Fort Ord. Calif., daughters, Malva Brantley, Hornbeck, Mrs. J. T. Arnold, Orange, Texas, Mrs. Claud Maxey, Many, Miss Jewell Marie Brantley, Hornbeck; brothers, Isaac Brantley, Columbus and General McCorkle, sister, Mrs Izzie Mitchell, Gandy.
