Burnett, 72, of Shreveport, at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 17, at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Rev. John Davis, pastor of Huntington Park Church of the Nazarene, where Mrs. Burnett was a member, officiated. Burial and graveside services were at 1 p.m., Sat., at Jennings Chapel Cemetery in Marthaville. Mrs. Burnett, born in Many, and a resident of Shreveport for 30 years, died at 4:45 p.m., Wed., July 14, 1982, at LSU Hospital, after a long illness. She was a homemaker. She is survived by four sons, Kenneth Burnett of Shreveport, Dovie Jennings, William M. Jennings, and Yvone Jennings, all of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Rachel Emery of Shreveport, and Mrs. Roma Jean Abel of New Salisbury, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Blue, and Mrs. Minnie Williams of Shreveport, and Mrs. Ruth Downs of Bethany, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
