Edward Brian Burnitt

  Funeral services for Edward Brian Burnitt, 21, of Converse, were
held Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 1:30 p.m., at the Converse Baptist
Church. Burial followed in the Converse Cemetery, under the
direction of the Drewett Funeral Home.

  Mr. Burnitt was killed in a one vehicle collision at
approximately 3 a.m., Sunday morning, Dec. 27.

  Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward S. Burnitt
Jr. of Converse; two brothers, Paul C. Burnitt, and Darien L.
Burnitt, both of Converse; and his grandmother, Mrs. E. S.
Burnitt Sr. of DeQuincy.

  Mr. Burnitt was a student at La. Tech.
