Services were held at Zwolle First Baptist Church, on Sunday, Jan. 29, 1989, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Lee Dickson, and Rev. Steve Neesley officiating. Burial was at Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Brandon was a lifelong resident of Sabine Parish, a Cattle Farmer, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Zwolle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie V. Brandon; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Brandon; and an older brother, Elmo Brandon. Survivors include two children, Earl Brandon of Zwolle, Irene Brandon of Shreveport; four grandchildren, Sharon DeWitt of Many; Mike Brandon of Zwolle, Ronnie Brandon of Baton Rouge, and Karen Roberts of Shreveport; five great grandchildren, Jason, and Meredith DeWitt of Many, Chris, Nina, and Rory Brandon of Zwolle; seven brothers, Morris Brandon of Noble, Quinton Brandon, Victor Brandon, Howard Brandon, and Nathan (Bob) Brandon, all of Zwolle, George Brandon of Plain Dealing, and Jack Brandon of Shreveport; four sisters, Della Blankenship of Pleasant Hill, Heloise Nabours of Zwolle, Eula Lea Nabours of Zwolle, and Learh Holt of Zwolle. Pallbearers included Douglas Brandon, Daryl Dyess, Todd Jones, Stanley Brandon, Charlie Renfro, and Nathan Brandon. Honorary pallbearers included Jack Jordan, Cecil Tooke, Calvin Jones, and John Gentry.
