Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Percy Tibbets officiating. Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many. Mr. Bryant died suddenly Saturday January 23, 1988, in Pleasant Hill. A 100% disabled veteran, he served in World War II with Patton's 3rd Army, where he received the American Theater Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal. He was a lifetime member of the D. A. V. Chapter 30 out of Shreveport and a member of the N.R.A. He was preceded in death by one son, Willard Roger Bryant. He is survived by his wife, Mary Bryant of Pleasant Hill; three sons, E. G. Bryant of Bethany, La., Mark Bryant of Many, La., L/Cpl. Robert P. Bryant of Camp Lejeune, N. Carolina; two daughters, Jan Sepulvado and Kathy Bryant, both of Zwolle, La.; and five sisters, Opal Stevenson of Lake Charles, Ima Harrellson of Trinty, Tx., LaVerne Walker of Nederland, Tx., Jean Lites of Many, Lucille Searcy of Lovelady, Tx.
