Rev. J. Lee Dickson, Msgr. Earl Provenza and Rev. Jerry Penfield officiated. Interment was in Zwolle City Cemetery. Mr. Brandon passed away on January 29, 1995 at Schumpert Medical Center of Shreveport. Mr. Brandon was born in Many on October 12, 1917 to Nathan W. and Mattie Brandon. Mr. Brandon was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Brandon and a grandson, Jason Rivers. Mr. Brandon was a State Trooper and Chief of Police for the city of Zwolle for 35 years. He was a Veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Nannie Brandon of Zwolle; three daughters, Lorene Jones, Becky Loupe, and Bonnie Brandon all of Zwolle, one son, Rocky Brandon, a special daughter-in-law and her husband, Beverly and Clay Bohanon of Haughton; three sisters, Heloise Nabours, Eula Lee Nabours, and Learh Holt all of Zwolle; four brothers, Victor Brandon, Howard Brandon, and ? Brandon, all of Many and Jack Brandon of Shreveport; seventeen grandchildren, Staci Lafitte, Jerry Lee Brandon, Amy Loupe, Cole Rivers, Lee Brandon, Katie Kohlbecker, Todd Jones, Erica Loupe, Meridith Loupe, Seth Rivers, Cody Brandon, Jake Kohlbecker, Dustin Brandon, Erin Loupe, Roddy Rivers, Jerry Lane Brandon and Rachel Brandon; two great grandchildren, Patrick Jones and Tyler Lafitte; and a host of nieces and nephews. Military graveside services were conducted by Sabine Parish D.A.V. Chapter #21. Honorary Pallbearers were the Active and Retired members of Law Enforcement.
