Mrs. Theda Verna Bryant

  Funeral services for Mrs. Theda Verna Bryant, 38, of Shreveport,
who died Tuesday, June 21, after an extended illness, were
conducted Thursday, June 23, in Trinity Baptist Church, with the
Rev. O. P. Bazer officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery,
under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Shreveport.

  Mrs. Bryant, a native of Many, has lived in Shreveport seven
years. She was a member of Trinity Heights Baptist Church.

  Pallbearers were Gay Bryant, Lynn Branam, Dale Lights, Kenneth
Walker, Ronnie McWherter, and James Lights.

  Survivors are her husband, Howard B. Bryant; and a daughter,
Miss Gloria Bryant, both of Shreveport; her father, Jessee
Brumley of Many; three brothers, Jesse D. Brumley of Many, D. W.
Brumley of Kansas City, Kansas, and Troy Brumley of Cleveland,
Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. C. C. McWherter of Lafayette, Mrs.
Hubert Branam of Houston, Mrs. Oberia Hawks of Arlington, Va.,
and Mrs. W. C. Eakin of Shreveport.
