Bryant, 58 year old retired U. S. Army master sergeant of Shreveport, and owner of North Highland Radio and T. V. Service, died Monday, March 13, in the Veterans Administration Hospital, after an illness of three months. He resided at 905 Deer Park Road in Shreveport. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 15, in the First National Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport, with the Rev. Leon Palmer, and the Rev. O. P. Bazer officiating. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elaine Dees Bryant of Shreveport; one son, Robert G. Bryant of Denver, Colo.; his mother, Mrs. Lottie Bryant of Many; two brothers, Howard B. Bryant of Shreveport, and Willard Bryant of Many; and seven sisters, Mrs. Opal Stephenson of Lake Charles, Mrs. Myrtle Warmack of Many, Mrs. Jean Lites of Many, Mrs. Lucille Searcy of Dickerson, Tex., Mrs. Minta Coone of Lovelady, Tex., Mrs. Ima Harrelson of Trinity, Tex., and Mrs. Laverne Walker of Nederland, Tex. Pallbearers were Kenneth Walker, Roger Bryant, Gay Bryant, Robert Gunderson, Louis Bryant, and Norman Coone. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
