Sharon Rachell Vines Barnett (Photo)

  Sharon Rachell Vines Barnett, 59, went into eternal rest, after
a lengthy illness on March 13, 2002, at her residence in
Thornton, Texas, where she retired after 30 years as an
elementary teacher.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., March 16, at Pisgah
Baptist Church, with interment following at Pisgah Cemetery. Bro.
Ted Cabra, and Bro. Donald Spears officiated.

  Survivors include her father, Ferman Vines of Toro Community;
step mother, Etha Vines of Toro Community; son, Rocky Vines
Barnett of Thornton, Texas; sister, Paula Dew; brother, Winfred
Vines; three nieces, Amanda Byerly, Ashley Sims, and Amber Dew;
and nephew Casey Vines, all of the Toro Community.

  Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Amanda Vines.

  Pallbearers were Lee Ferkovich, Frank Hill, Ryan Howard, Randy
McNeely, Victor Sims, and Steven Smallwood.
