The Sabine Index - M. E. Brumley 
  
  10 Nov 1939 - M. E. Brumley of Grand Falls, Texas, was killed in 
an automobile accident near Fisher last Sunday at about 11 
o'clock. Mr. Brumley, along with is wife and two children, and 
his parents were on their way to Leesville when the accident 
happened, a truck was making a turn for a side road. 
  
  Mr. Brumley's father, Mart Brumley, is in the Fraser sanitarium 
seriously injured. The other occupants of the car were badly 
bruised and shaken. 
  
  Funeral rites for M. E. Brumley were held Wednesday at Spring 
Ridge, near Plesant Hill at 10 o'clock with Rev. Pratt McCloud 
officiating. Interment was in Spring Ridge cemetery. 
  
  Surviving are the widow and two children, the parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Mart Brumley, and several brothers and sisters.
