The Sabine Index - Jesse Denson Brumley

  August 2, 1973

  Jesse Denson Brumley, 40, of Many, passed away Tuesday, July 24,
in Many after a long illness.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 25, in the Mt. Zion
Baptist Church at 4 p.m. with Rev. Brent Fleming officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha Sue Brumley, a son,
Denson Clayton, and a daughter, Mignonnie, all of Many; his
father, Jesse Daniel Brumley of Shreveport; a brother Wilson
Brumley, Olatha, Kansas and four sisters, Mrs. Oberia Galaway,
Sarasota, Fla.; Mrs. Shawnee Eakin, Shreveport, Mrs. Rita
McWherter, Lafayette, and Mrs. Mildren Branam of Houston.

  Bearing the pall were Hubert Wooley, Dwight Mason, James Lites,
William Carpenter, Rex White and Wilson Brumley.
