Roy Barnhill

  Roy Barnhill, 67, of Marthaville, died Monday, March 6, in a
Shreveport hospital, following a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, in the Marthaville
Methodist Church, with the Rev. Floyd McCarty officiating. Burial
was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of the
Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

  Mr. Barnhill is survived by his widow; two sons, Doyle Barnhill
of Rapid city, S. D., Jimmy Barnhill of Shreveport; two
daughters, Joyce Crump, and Helen Barnhill, both of Marthaville;
five sisters, Ruby Berly, Blanch Roe, Faye Parks, all of
Marthaville, DeLouise Vellon of Lake Charles, Edeline Thurlay of
Natchitoches; four brothers, Adrian Barnhill of Marthaville,
Glenn Barnhill of Lake Charles, Joe Barnhill of Boulder, Colo.,
Rufus Barnhill of Shreveport; and seven grandchildren.
