Tom Brumley

  Tom Brumley, 82, of Many, died in Natchitoches, Jan. 17, at
12:20 p.m., after an extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Ett; one son, James O. Brumley of
Many; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Slaughter of Hornbeck, Mrs.
Beatrice Mitchell of Many, and Mrs. Emma LeDoux of Shreveport; 10
grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great
grandchildren.

  Services were held at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Thursday,
Jan. 19, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Arthur Haymon, and the Rev. H.
H. Tibbitts officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
