Services were held Sunday, at 2 p.m., in the Robeline First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Glen Flenniken, the Rev. Percy Tibbitts, and the Rev. Lofton officiating. Burial was in the Springridge Cemetery, with Masonic graveside services. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marbry Brumley of Robeline; two sons, Norbert Brumley of Beaumont, Texas, and Artis Brumley of New Orleans; one sister, Mrs. Artie Patton of Many; four brothers, Thomas Brumley of Eunice, and Alvin Brumley of Leesville, George Brumley of Nacogdoches, and Zach Brumley of Many; eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
