The Sabine Index - Emmitt M. Brumley

  14 Dec 1956 - Funeral services for Emmitt M. Brumley, 65, who
passed away Friday, Dec. 7, was conducted at Mt. Zion Baptist
church at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 with Rev. C. C. Pearce
officiating. Interment was in church cemetery under the direction
of Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. E. M. Brumley of Many; sons,
Wilie and Marvin Brumley, both of Shreveport, Jasper Brumley of
Baton Rouge, Marlin Brumley with the U. S. navy, San Fransisco,
T. J. of Houston and Olin Dean of Many; daughters, Mrs. Effie Mae
Savell of Many, Mrs. Onida Brown of Natchez, La., Mrs. Jennie
Ruth Gandy of Natchitoches; brothers, Walter, Burton and Willie
Bryant Brumley all of Many, Jesse of Shreveport; sister, Mrs. S.
F. Webb of Many; 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
