Nathan Gordon Brumley

  Nathan Gordon Brumley, 39, of Pearland, Tex., entered into rest
on March 1, 1983, at 10:30 a.m., after a brief illness of cancer.

  He was a Houston Police Helicopter Pilot, and a member of the
Police Officer's Union.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, March 3, in Pearland, Tex.,
with full honor guard. Pallbearers were his fellow officers.

  Survivors include his wife, Kathy Brumley of Pearland, Tex.; two
sons, Craig Brumley, and T. J. Brumley of Pearland; one daughter,
Melissa Brumley of Pearland, Tex.; his mother, Mrs. Rachel
Stevenson of Houston, and step father, Hugh Stevenson of Houston;
four brothers, Tommy Brumley of Bellaire, Tex., Carman Brumley,
Kenneth Brumley, and Ronnie Brumley, all of Houston, Tex.; his
grandmother, Mrs. Rilda Fyke of Many; and a host of aunts,
uncles, and cousins.

  He was preceded in death by his father, T. J. Brumley.
