All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Addie Ethel Daugherty Armour Brumley (Photo) Services for Mrs. Addie Ethel Daugherty Armour Brumley, who was 91 years old, were held at the Many First Baptist Church, Sunday, March 11, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Ed Scott officiated. Burial was at the Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Brumley died on March 7. Mrs. Brumley was born in Converse on January 9, 1910, and lived in Many for almost sixty years. She held a Bachelor's Degree from Northwestern State University, and a Master's Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, and taught in the Sabine Parish public schools for 32 years. She was active as a member of the Sabine Retired Teacher's Association, and was a member of the First Baptist church of Many for 56 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur S. Armour; and her second husband, J. A. Brumley Sr. Her survivors include two daughters, Arthurine Armour Harrison and husband Kenny of Little Rock, Ark., and Claudine Armour Mizell and husband Roy of Many; step children James Alfice Brumley Jr. and wife Lanell of Many, Terry Brumley and wife Pat of Dayton, Texas, and Marjorie Brumley Ebarb of Littleton, Colo.; grandchildren are Michael Mizell of Bayou Vista, Rhonda Harrison Hestir of Heber Springs, Ark., and Paula Mizell Thomas of Many; step grandchildren are Walter Ebarb of Houston, Texas, Jay Brumley, and Jamie Brumley Rule of Many, Lorrie Ebarb Pritchard of Littleton, Colo., Joanna Ebarb of Houston, Texas; and five great grandchildren.
