Mrs. Ivy Brumley

  Mrs. Ivy Brumley, 70, of Houston, Tex., died Aug. 8, after an
extended illness.

  Surviving relatives include her husband, Ivy Brumley of Houston,
Tex.; five sons, Harold H. Brumley, Canie C. Brumley, Jessie A.
Brumley, all of Houston, Tex.; Laurence O. Brumley of Laurel,
Miss., and Jack Brumley of Henderson, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs.
Lurline Carley, Mrs. Helen Pate, and Mrs. Eartis Cates, all of
Houston, Tex.; two brothers, Perry, and Hollis Green, both of
Marthaville; 35 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at Emmanuel Gospel Church, Aug. 10,
with the Rev. Clyde Barnhill officiating. Burial was in the Old
Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home of Many.
