Tesla H. Barnhill

  Tesla H. Barnhill, 64, of Converse, died Tuesday, Dec 14, in a
Shreveport hospital, after a long illness. He was a retired civil
service worker.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, in the Converse
Baptist Church, with the Rev. H. M. Roach officiating.

  Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Drewett Funeral Home of
Mansfield was in charge of arrangements.

  Survivors are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Margarite Macjin of
Alexandria, Va., Mrs. James Beard of Pecos, Tex.; three sisters,
Mrs. Zelma Williams of Monticello, Ark., Mrs. Mary Allbritton of
Bastrop, Mrs. Beuma Sistrunk of Converse; three brothers, Gordon
Barnhill of Delhi, Dalton Barnhill of Rayville, and Leu Barnhill
of Shreveport; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
