Charita Browning

  Mrs. Charita Browning, 54, of Belmont, died in Mansfield on
Monday, August 2, at 10 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Mrs. Browning is survived by two sons, Leonard Browning of
Brusley, and Huey Browning of Belmont; two daughters, Mrs. Viva
Murphy of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Louise Skinner of Belmont; a
brother, James Hicks of Missouri; 17 grandchildren, and numerous
great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 4, at 10 a.m.,
in the Belmont Baptist Church. The Rev. J. P. King, and the Rev.
Guy Burr officiated. Burial was in the Belmont Cemetery, under
the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
