Mr. Edward James Browning

  Funeral services for Mr. Edward James Browning, 81, were held
Saturday, January 26, at 2 p.m., in Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Interment followed in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Browning died at his residence in Florien, Thursday, January
24.

  He is survived by his wife, Katie Browning of Florien; one son,
Elvis Browning of Florien; two daughters, Eunice Knippers of
Florien, and Nelda Nett of Many; one sister, Winnie Slaughter of
Florien; one brother, Coyle Browning of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; nine
grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Mr. Browning's grandsons.
