Mrs. Letie A. Browning

  Mrs. Letie A. Browning, 85, of Florien, died in Many, Tuesday,
Oct. 10, after a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Mt.
Carmel Baptist Church. Interment was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Winnie Slaughter of
Florien, and Mrs. Audry Edwards of Shreveport; three sons, Edward
Browning of Florien, Elmer Browning of Shreveport, and Coyl
Browning of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; and 32 great
grandchildren.
