Mr. William A. Barnard

  Mr. William A. Barnard entered into eternal rest on Thursday,
July 10, at the Grace Home of Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport.

  Mr. Bernard, 60, was born on May 15, 1937, in Hall Summitt. He
retired from the Department of Transportation, and was a member
of Spring Ridge Baptist Church. He was the son of Minnie Rae and
Bonnie Dale Barnard.

  Survivors include his widow of 43 years, Elsie Lea Goleman
Barnard of Pleasant Hill; two sons, Dub Wayne Barnard and wife
Sherry of Pleasant Hill, and William Jr. Barnard and wife
Stephanie of Pleasant Hill; three daughters, Sherry Hight and
husband Bob of Belmont, Terry Chreene and husband Dewayne of
Shreveport, and Rene Martinez and husband Paul of Zwolle; two
sisters, Ila Odom of Marshall, Texas, and Carol Barnard of
Waskom, Texas; a special sister-in-law, Ann Barnard of Hall
Summitt; 22 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of
nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

  Mr. Barnard is preceded in death by one grandchild, William
Bradley Durr; one brother, A. G. Barnard; two sisters, Shelby
Jean Barker, and Wanda Rae Myrick; and his parents, Minnie Rae
and Bonnie Dale Barnard.
